In typical fashion, the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G sports the usual packaging we’ve come to accept with most devices on T-Mobile’s lineup. Hardly surprising, we’re presented with a snazzy looking image of the smartphone right in front, while the rear holds some of its main features – more on that later. Inside, nothing is out of the ordinary as it’s packaged along with the usual assortment of documentation, microUSB cable, wall charger, and an always useful microSD card adapter. Honestly, for the price, we can’t be too upset because it’s the usual items we’ve come to find with all devices in this day and age.
Right away, we’re a bit taken back holding it for the first time. Well, it’s blatantly obvious that it’s a typical Samsung made device – being all-plastic and all. However, what’s impressive is that it’s extremely compact in size for a smartphone bearing a 4” Super AMOLED display. Even more, when we place it next to an iPhone 4S, it’s barely noticeable that the Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G is a tiny bit larger. As for the rest, it features a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera, 720p video recording, front-facing camera, 1,750 mAh battery, HSPA+ 42Mbps connectivity, and the latest TouchWiz UI running on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
