New Nokias and Symbian Belle NFC Check-In

Engadget has posted up their hands on gallery of the Nokia 600, 700, and 701 Symbian Belle handsets. There’s no reaction yet from the engadget staff on Symbian Belle.
At the end of their post is a video showing NFC check in with these new Nokias. NFC is going to be on all future Symbian handsets and is a feature Nokia wants to popularise as much as they had done with SMS.

Nokia Nearby is a hyper-local search application which you can use to look for information about places and listings near you and also share this information with any of your contacts.  While this app works on Series40, S60, and Symbian devices, it is targeted primarily towards emerging markets with a high emphasis on Series40 devices, including those that don’t have Nokia Maps or GPS on them. With Nokia Nearby you can discover places & listings like restaurants, movie theaters, and malls and get details about the places that interest you and contact them from within the app.
