Review of the Samsung B7722

Posted by Admin Saturday, January 14, 2012

There is nothing astonishing about the B7722 appearance. It is a cuddly touch bar phone with rounded edges and a triangle-shaped D-pad, emblematic of recently released company phones. These days all Samsung phones suffer from Corby hangovers and eventually we are all getting hallucinated visions of the B7722. The handset is all-plastic, but feels good to hold and operate.

Keep the Torch 9800 closed and you’ll notice RIM is still happy being loyal to its papyrus old designs. The slider makes all the difference to the hardware of the phone; otherwise, it still reminds you of the old boss 9700. The familiarity continues with the dimensions: 4.4” x 2.4” x 0.6” and weight 5.7 ounces. Call and end keys, menu and back buttons and optical track pad navigation, so very reminiscent of BlackBerry, sports the area below the 3.2-inch half-VGA screen. 5.7 ounces is by no means light yet the Torch turns out to be quite handy and easily slips into a pocket.

Review of the HTC HD7

The HTC HD7 is a leviathan amongst the circling satellites of smartphones, deserved by ones daring to push the limits. The large touch screen occupies most of the front part accompanied by a small rectangular strip for touch sensitive buttons. It’s an OLED screen compared to the AMOLED of the Samsung Omnia 7 that rolls it back a little leaving more room for comparison.

Review of the LG Town GT350

Targeted at sweet sixteen kids, the LG Town comes in four funky colours: blue, purple, silver and black. The colour, even if it does not appeal to all age slots, is pleasing to the eye specially the blue-white combo. Until the blue keyboard appears, the complete handset is dipped in white colour with abstract grey patterning at the back.
